Trailer for Seth MacFarlane's New Space Comedy Series THE ORVILLE

Clearly spoofing Star Trek shows. Also reminds me of Galaxy Quest. I'm in.

I thought that "A Million Ways to Die in the West" was hilarious. I'm in.

Looks okay, I'll probably check it out. Thank god it's not another McFarlane animation.

Show will get canceled like all of his non-Family guy related shows

Yeah I'll bless it with a watch.

One slight chuckle in a packed 3 minute trailer.

Not a good sign.

I liked bits of it, but a lot of it fell flat. Still, I'm a sucker for space opera so will have to give it a shot. Hopefully two things happen: 1) It's good, and 2) Fox doesn't cancel it just as it hits its stride.

Seems better than a lot of the other crap network tv has going on.

American Dad! has 14 seasons, and even The Cleveland Show has 4. If he can get 4 seasons of that, then pretty much anything has a shot at a couple seasons.

I don't know if I'll watch this, it'll depend on its time slot.

I read "series" then watched the trailer and it looked like it was a movie to me. Either way it really didn't seem funny to me so I will pass.

From the trailer it seems like Seth is really the only funny person in the show, everyone else just kind of seems like a bland side character for him to hurl jokes at. Still looks better than most of the stuff Fox puts out, I'll check it out.

Looks great. Like the galaxy quest Tv series we never got. Mcfarlane is a hardcore Star Trek TNG fan, and has hired a bunch of trek people. He is even doing things like filming the ships using high quality models, like how they used to do it. He's lined up quite a few Star Trek veterans to direct including Jonathan Frakes, Robert Duncan McNeil, Brannon Braga, with more to come.

I actually hope Seth McFarlane gets a chance to create and show run his own Star Trek series, at some point.

Seth MacFarlane is a painfully unfunny live-action actor.
