Western Australia’s capital city of Perth will host its second UFC event. The promotion announced on Monday that UFC 251 is headed to RAC Arena on June 7.
A full fight card has yet to be confirmed for the pay-per-view card, but UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski’s first title defense has been linked to Perth or Sydney in June. UFC President Dana White said earlier this month that a rematch between Volkanovski and Holloway is first up for the Australian champ.

The fight card is also expected to feature a women’s title fight between flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko and Joanne Calderwood.
The octagon has already traveled Down Under once this year, touching down in Auckland, New Zealand for an ESPN+ card featuring Dan Hooker vs. Paul Felder. The first event hosted by Perth was UFC 221, which took place in Feburary 2018 and featured a middleweight headliner between Yoel Romero and Luke Rockhold.
