Another future PFL contract was handed out on the latest edition of PFL Challenger Series.

Impa Kasanganay earned himself a future fight in the promotion with a win live on Fubo TV. The event took place from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Former fighter Tim Kennedy along with former UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Randy Couture served as special guests.

In the main event of the night, Kasanganay collided with Osama Elsaidy, the second fighter to represent Egypt under the PFL banner, making both his U.S. and PFL debut.

Kasanganay scored the second knockout of his career, finishing Elsaidy off with a slick combination and some brutal ground and pound to earn the first-round knockout. With the win, Kasanganay earned Week 7’s PFL contract and improved to 11-3 in his career.

Taylor “Tombstone” Johnson, battled Trey Williams in the co-main event of the night. Williams came into the bout having won five of his six wins by finish. Taylor needed just a minute and 20 seconds to take care of business against Williams, winning by TKO in the opening round. Taylor improved to 9-3.

“I’m proud of all the fighters who competed tonight for the opportunity to earn a contract with the PFL,” said Ray Sefo, President of Fighter Operations of PFL. “Congratulations to Impa Kasanganay after an impressive victory, we look forward to watching you embark on the $1 million journey.”
