Promise delivered: Tyron Woodley gets Jake Paul tattoo – on his middle finger

Tyron Woodley made good on his promise, but he added a little personal flavor.

On Monday, the former UFC welterweight titleholder showed off a fresh new “I love Jake Paul” tattoo – on his middle finger. The tattoo comes as a result of a pre-fight wager made by the two fighters, in which the loser would get the winner’s name tattooed on their body.

Woodley, 39, said late last week his expectation was to get the tattoo over the weekend, and sure enough he did, according to the image he posted in which he’s flipping the middle finger to an image of Paul.

I love you son. Now come and get this ass whippin cause i heard you been talking back to your elders. @jakepaul #ManOfMyWord

WHERE YOU AT!?

According to Woodley, the ink was done by tattoo artist Rubia Santana.

While the bet was made prior to the fight as a general stipulation, Woodley and Paul re-wagered in the ring immediately after the fight. After Woodley lobbied for a rematch, Paul indicated he’d be willing if Woodley got the tattoo. Woodley responded with “bet,” and the two men shook hands.

Neither man has scheduled their next fight since Paul defeated Woodley via unanimous decision on Aug. 29. Paul, however, has continually lobbied for a fight against rising boxing star Tommy Fury, but has indicated it is unlikely to happen.

Not long after, Paul reacted on his Instagram story:

When challenged by former UFC fighter and commentator Dan Hardy that the tattoo was fake, Woodley posted a video of him getting it.
