Swansea, a club renowned for advocating the beautiful game, turned ugly to open up a four-point advantage in the Championship's automatic promotion race.
In Connor Roberts they appear to have unearthed the new Rory Delap, and it was from one of the Wales international's touchline launches that Ben Cabango opened the scoring in first-half injury time at Oakwell, prompting Steve Cooper's coaching staff to joke it was 'the first ever long throw and headed goal in Swansea's history.'
Cooper said: 'It was a real threat because of the way the game was, and if that's what it took, that's what it took. I am not going to be too proud to say different.

'Do we work on it on the training ground? Not really. We do work on set-plays but not particularly long throws.
'But if Connor wants to throw it 50 yards and find someone's head in the six-yard box then he can crack on.'
Swansea took full advantage of Bournemouth's slip-up earlier on Saturday, scoring a second 10 minutes after the interval through top scorer Jamal Lowe to dispirit a Barnsley side fighting off suitors for captain Alex Mowatt, already the subject of offers this month and out of contract in the summer.
