Euro 2020: France to wear special one-off shirt against Iceland and it’s a thing of beauty

The jersey is a royal blue design and has been released on general sale to the public to mark the French Football Federation's 100th anniversary

France have released a special edition jersey to mark the French Football Federation's 100th anniversary - and it's safe to say it's an absolute beauty.

The kit, which will be worn by the World Cup winners for their Euro 2020 fixture against Iceland on Monday night, is a lighter shade of blue than the normal navy design and features a collar and buttons.

The Nike designed shirt aims to replicate the jersey the national team wore in their first official match against Belgium in 1919 - and it has now gone on sale to the general public.

It features the iconic cockerel in gold on the chest and the classic white shorts and red socks combination.
