Huddersfield on the verge of signing Monaco striker Adama Diakhaby – reports
The Terriers are keen to bolster their options up front
Huddersfield are close to completing the signing of Monaco striker Adama Diakhaby, according to reports in France.
The 22-year-old, who made 30 appearances for Monaco in Ligue 1 last season, has impressed many potential suitors and a big-money move has been mooted.
David Wagner is keen to strengthen his attacking options at Huddersfield in order to build on last season's 16th-place finish.
And, according to L'Equipe, a deal worth in the region of £8m for Diakhaby will be completed imminently.
Diakhaby will link up with former Monaco team-mate Terence Kongolo at the John Smith's Stadium once the deal has gone through.
