Manchester United transfer news: Valencia want to sign Red Devils starlet Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan
The 20-year-old spent last season with Crystal Palace, and another loan deal looks likely this campaign
Valencia are interested in snapping up Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan, according to reports in Spain.
The versatile 20-year-old spent last season out on loan at Crystal Palace, and he played an integral part in helping the Eagles avoid the dreaded drop from the Premier League to the Championship.
Fosu-Mensah's impressive performances have seen him linked with a return to Selhurst Park this summer, but United are said to be looking at alternative options for the Netherlands Under-21 international.

According to Super Deporte, the Red Devils have held initial conversations with Valencia regarding Fosu-Mensah and a proposed loan deal could be struck between United and the LaLiga side.
One potential stumbling block, however, is Valencia's desire to include a purchase option at the end of Fosu-Mensah's loan spell - something United are not keen on.
Nonetheless, Valencia remain hopeful of concluding a deal for the young defender - who is unlikely to feature in Jose Mourinho's first-team squad next season.
