Persona Q2 TGS 2018 Footage Shows Off Difficulty Options And F.O.E.s

One of the games Atlus was showing off at TGS 2018 was Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, the Nintendo 3DS JRPG. In addition to revealing the opening movie and protagonist character trailers, new footage from the game has been shown. Two of the most substantial bits allow people to see the different difficulty options available when heading into the game and what it is like to face an F.O.E., one of the strongest sorts of enemies in a dungeon. (Thanks, Persona Central!)

First, there is a video that showed what happens when someone starts a new game of Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. It began by going over the difficulty options available, which are Safety (easiest), Easy, Normal, Hard, and Risky. We then see the introduction, with Persona 5’s Ren Amamiya, being pulled into a different world and going through a tutorial to help them through this new dungeon and its first fight.

The second Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth bit of footage is more about experiencing the dungeon and showing what sorts of parties you can form, as characters like Persona 4’s Yu Narukami are available to join the group. Also, one of the main events here is seeing an F.O.E. fight in the labyrinth.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth will come to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on November 29, 2018.
