People will soon have one less place to purchase Capcom game-related goods. The company announced it will close the Capcom Store and only take orders until May 1, 2021. The announcement appeared on the main page of the store itself. It also noted that now items available there are “limited.” [Thanks, Wario64!]
The Capcom Store is also known for selling both games and merchandise, as well as some of its special offers and releases. For example, at the moment its final special offers include 50% off CapcomxB-Side stickers of a Resident Evil Cerberus and Maya Fey. There is no more merchandise left in that section. As for the games section, it only has $29.99 copies of Resident Evil 2 for the Xbox One and waiting lists for the standard and deluxe editions of Monster Hunter Rise.
The company also offered a rewards program for members. When you’d buy items, you could get points. You could then spend them on items like art books, figures, and soundtracks. At the moment, some of the final rewards include a Dead Rising Zombrex Pen for 10 points, a Street Fighter belt for 20 points, a Mega Man 9 soundtrack for 100 points, a Monster Hunter World Nergigante figure for 200 points, and a Darkstalkers Official Complete Work art book for 300 points.
The last day to place orders at the Capcom Store before it will close is May 1, 2021.
