Dragon Ball Z Cockroach - $34.16 (PS4) / $33.49 (XBOX) @ Target

I set one to store pickup, and 2 to ship. Cancelling the 2 was super easy, wasn't aware of the $10 off $100 offer so didn't get a chance to try.

Takes the price of the free item and divides it by 3 to discount each item by an equal amount, meaning you get a 33% discount at most on an order that doesn't exceed $100. And 50% at most if you exceed the $100 and are eligible for $10 off.

Would this work if I just wanted a 33% off RE3? Assuming they won't cancel it prior to launch?
Meh. Just realized you can't select preorders for in store pick up, which is dumb. And I wouldn't want to wait an extra few days for the game to ship if it ships on release day.

This game got censored left and right for no apparent reason with all type of scenes removed. Wouldn't even get this for $20, I'll stick to the anime.

But $30+ is still a great deal for those that want it.

After reading some reviews, sounds like 'Cockroach' might be appropriate.

I almost want to bite on RE3, but if it's gonna be another short game like RE2, I don't want to pay any more than $15 come Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

This game is quite disappointing. I’d recommend just watching DBZ. Only 4 hours in but it ain’t getting better.

I watched a friend play through the beginning. It looks like An amazing game for Dragon Ball fans, but it won't likely appeal very much to people that aren't into the series, which is typical for an anime game.

Do you guys remember the stuff we got during the 6th and 7th gens? They've come a long way with these, and the game is a joy.

Already got it for $40 during previous b2g1 but won’t be arriving till this weekend so ordered and cancelled to get one for pick up today for $33. I’d say that’s the sweet spot. After finding out there’s no multiplayer. Not even coop?

There are scenes / explanations for events in the anime that have never been seen. Biggest plus. Combat is meh, overworld explore is simplistic and unpolished, flight scenes and picking up orbs same.

It feels like an addendum to the Z series at best.

Picked it up at Gamestop this weekend with some trade credit and am really having a blast with the game. It is far from perfect, but if you like DBZ this game is like a dream come true.

For those who already have the game, does the combat feel like Xenoverse? That's the biggest gripe I have looking at videos showing off gameplay.
Not exactly. You’ll primarily use the face buttons to dash and pummel repeatedly until you have to block. You use the shoulder triggers to block and modify attacks to specials. You dodge sideways with projectiles etc. You can focus and launch weaker projectiles. There are a few timing moves you can do after blocking. You can use healing items so even the seemingly difficult fights are trivial if you prepare. I have only used 3 different fighters but all were similar.

When the fights got more difficult I was enjoying it- once I learned to use items it started to feel a bit drawn out taking off 5-6 life bars with the same pattern.

The story is definitely the big draw here imho.

I would describe it as airborne JoJo. The system is very similar.

Something I’ve been doing that is cool and has me reminiscing- I’m following along in the anime. I haven’t seen the first season in about 20 years. It’s neat to see how the designers tackled the story and what they added / cut.

I ordered 3 and cancelled 2, but my “estimated tax” is still showing the full amount. Will this fix itself when I pick it up?

EDIT: Never mind, it just fixed itself. $33.41 total. Not bad!!

I think it's because I chose RE3 which was more expensive. I didn't realize it until way after I posted this. Oh well, still better than full price
Probably also because you missed out on the Save $10 on your entire purchase when you spend $100 and select same day delivery or pick up.

You should have ordered the two RE3s for pick up.
