Best Buy Mystery Coupon?

dxironman

CAGiversary!
Just got an email with a mystery coupon. Haven’t seen these in awhile. Isn’t there a way to tell how much it’s for without actually going to the store?

im trying to find out myself...so far everything ive added to the cart to check out hasnt worked on it to see.

Did you try opening it and doing the scratch off thing?  It literally tells you what it is.

I'm just going to go out on a limb and assume it's the same $25 off $250 deal I got.

I didn't get that scratch off email. Last round of random emailed gift certificates were in some weekly advertisement. These seem to be targeted.

Honestly the BB credit card is awesome. They frequently give out ( use your card for 300$, get 30$ back ) all the time. The 6% back is better than any other retailer on exclusively video games / credit card.

If you don't have the BB CC, would highly reccomend

I got a 10% off one item coupon.

Both need to be used kinda soon, so... might try to use on RTX 3080 :D

the scratching part didnt work on browsers...thats why i couldnt see what it was... had to use my phone.  ended up as 10% off one "select" item

I find the BB CC to be a PitA. When I charge items of the BB CC, I need to wait for the invoice, then go to the store next month and write a check to pay the bill. No autopay as far as I understand from the associates. So just buying a couple small items necessitates burning more gas later, to pay the bill. Points expire, and points don't work like store credit at other retailers. When you get a certificate, you need to use it all at once. Iirc, you also can't use 2+ certs in the same transaction. For instance you can't use 2 high dollar certs to buy MacOS Office - Only one, good sir / madam! Fork over the difference!

Lately when I go to BB for smaller items, they say, "Oh I see you are a BB credit card holder, would you like to use that?" Me:"No thanks". Them:"Oh...".

I would recommend it for large purchases, like if you buying a new MacBook, TV, stove, refrigerator, or something expensive.

For small purchases it's not worth it for me. I guess I just don't go there often enough, and like I said earlier, the points expire, and even the certs rapidly expire, so it's really not worth it for casual shopping. Not to mention the times I had to complain to customer service because I never got certificates I was promised. Waste of time.

Do you guys sign up for the Best Buy marketing emails? I seen these posted on SD all the time but I never got one, even when I was signed up for their marketing emails for 2 years.

Yep, 2 weeks ago I received one for 10 percent off a single item and a spend $150 anywhere and receive a bonus 25 reward cert. I got this offer as well.

$25 here. I'm not sure how much we've spent at BB but I am Elite Plus and expect to get first dibs at a playstation 5 pre-order:)

found it.....$4,152.....thats a bit depressing:(

Really? I have a bank account linked. Waiting for the charge to post is pretty common amongst crappy CCs, I make my payments online, I would never dream of cutting a check.

Might be talking about the regular BB Credit Card versus the BB Visa Credit Card. I make my payment on my BB Visa CC online so all purchases go on that bad boy for the most part. They just sent an offer starting in September to have 10% back for 'Warehouse Store' purchases until the end of the year. I will gladly rack up BB reward points versus Costco Cash. I'm hoping Costco gets decent PS5 stock so I can get back $50 in points with the console purchase (assuming the regular PS5 is $499.99). Push comes to shove, I can always get a temp Sam's Club membership if a PS5 is involved...

I dunno why Best Buy even bothers having discount codes if they only seem to give them out once or twice a year and a 10% off discount on birthdays.

Eh, ever since GCU went away, I've kind of forgotten that Best Buy even sells videogames.
Best Buy is my favorite place to buy games because I think it's the only place left around here where I can walk into the store and grab the game off the shelf myself.

Got 10% off one select item.

Likely will use on Pikman 3 or new Hyrule Warriors game preorder with some new rewards certificates.

Been a Elite/Elite Plus member for years and finally signed up for promo emails last year and I've still never received one of these things.
