I forgot you needed to have your credit card information on file to even get something free on XBL. There any way around that?
 
It's only the 360 version (looks like the only current gen version was for PS4) but works on Xbox One.

Only the Zod and Arrow skins are free on Xbox. The compatibility packs just let you see people using the other skins online. It's one of the ways games got around paying for another "title update" to make DLC work for everyone back then.

Thanks, I got it on XBOX last night when I saw this post and now I also go it on PS4. Now to hope and wait for a +$5 trade in bonus at Gamestop so I can trade in my PS4 disk copy.

 
Just did some searching and found the problem I've noticed with the PS4 version.   If anyone notices that the cutscenes in story mode are super choppy, it's due to the moronic developer WB hired for the port(the same one that did the Mortal Kombat 2011 & X PC ports).   Apparently the actual gameplay is 60fps, but the cutscenes are capped at last gen's 30fps.  Which is why it looks like it stutters constantly.  WB never patched it to fix the problem.

You only were able to get it because you don't currently "own" it by having an active subscription. It's a big problem Sony has with their store. People who have PSNow can't buy the games on there when they go on sale. You would think people not being able to give you money would be a high priority to fix.

They also never patched it to add PS3 fightstick support that was developed right after this game was released. Funny thing considering how some like me have the Injustice PS3 fightstick (GameStop clearance) and it doesn't work on Injustice 1 for PS4.

 
I definitely got a copy but does anybody know WHY they were giving it away for free?

I wish they would've given the season pass with it on console, too.

The game is old and already has a sequel that's old. It wasn't going for much anyway. It's smart to generate interest in the series. Maybe a 3rd is coming.

 
Kind of weird but the price at gamestop for the ps4 version was $9.99 for the longest time and now it's $14.99.
