- Leicester's out-of-favour midfielder Adrien Silva is wanted by Bordeaux
- The Portuguese international has played little this season under Claude Puel
- Head of recruitment Eduardo Macia could also be joining Bordeaux
Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva is in talks over a loan move to Ligue 1 Bordeaux.
The 29-year-old has been frozen out under Claude Puel and the player's father has been critical of the Leicester manager whose position is under consideration.
Leicester head of player recruitment, Eduardo Macia, is also poised to join Bordeaux.
Adrien Silva may be departing Leicester for a loan spell with Ligue 1 club Bordeaux
Silva has made just 19 appearances in all competitions since his controversial arrival from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.
The midfielder was initially prevented from registering for the club in August 2017 as his documents arrived 14 seconds after the deadline, so only officially joined in January.
Meanwhile, MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps have confirmed that goalkeeper Chituru Odunze will begin a two-week trial with Leicester City on Monday.
The 16-year-old is signed to Whitecaps' U23 development squad and grew up in London.
He has previously spent time at Chelsea, Cardiff City and West Ham academies.
