Spanish imprint Apavisa has designed the Erosion series of tiles, which are made from porcelain and decorated with metallic gold accents. It simulates the natural patina that alters over time by oxidation on cast iron. The tiles are finished in a rich pattern which imitates rusted patches which creating a look which is similar to veined stone.
The series is designed in a selection of three colors, including Blue, White, or Graphite. Each one is made from a blend dramatically with gold touches, which gives it a visually rich surface. Apacisa has noted that the tile creates an aesthetic that is at once robust and elevated. It recommends the tiles for a variety of modern interior spaces.
