The Yale Smart Lock with Matter has been introduced by the brand as a replacement for the Nest x Yale Lock that will fit in seamlessly with the Google Home smart home ecosystem. The lock is ready for use with the Google Home setup, but also provides support for Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings thanks to Matter-over-Thread compatibility. The lock is a full-deadbolt replacement with a keypad and a keyway for access, and comes in three finishes including white, black and gray to fit in neatly with existing finishings.
The Yale Smart Lock with Matter can be programmed via the Google Home app or other Matter-compatible setup for managing passcodes, scheduling guest access, setup up the auto-lock feature and more.
