New Riff Debuts Two Expressions to Its Silver Grove Series
References: newriffdistilling & bevnet
New Riff Distilling has unveiled its latest limited-edition Silver Grove series and the launch features two barrel-proof whiskeys personally selected and signed by Master Distiller Brian Sprance. The 2025 releases include a straight bourbon with a 60% corn, 35% rye, and 5% malted barley composition, and a straight rye that boasts a 95% rye, 5% malted rye mix. Both expressions are aged four years and bottled uncut to preserve their robust flavor profiles.
The bourbon in the Silver Grove series presents layered notes of maple sugar, dark fruit, and baking spices, while the rye offers a complex bouquet of spearmint, citrus, and oak spice. These small-batch expressions mark the first New Riff products bearing a master distiller's signature.
