Witchbrook is due to release in Winter 2025. Chucklefish announced this release window during the March 2025 Nintendo Direct.
This long-awaited window came as quite the surprise following a long quiet period with next to no news. This long wait is likely due in no small part to Chucklefish's commitment to combating crunch culture, and its fierce belief that happy developers make better games. We strongly agree, and hope that the extra time in the oven will make this adorable little gem well worth the wait.

Will Witchbrook come out on Switch?
Witchbrook is confirmed to be coming to both Nintendo Switch and Steam. Nintendo confirmed this during the March 2025 Nintendo Direct, showcasing a full trailer and release window. We also think it's highly likely that Witch Brook will be Steam Deck compatible on release – but, of course, we'll update this guide as soon as we get more info.
