The thread of sampled songs

Post a song then post the song it sampled. If multiple artists sampled the same song that has already been posted, just quote the sampled and add the other artist's song.

I've been exploring samples recently and this seems like a fun thread. I did a search and it doesn't look like it's been done yet. So here we go.

Sample digging is one of my favourite hobbies, I had a ton of entries on whosampled back in the day.

Yeah Zapp have some classic samples, that one was used a bunch - I remember it from Everlast's first album, Lench Mob, that King Tee commercial

They were some funky motherfuckers

This is one of my favourite low key samples, instead of using the main beat that everyone knows, Paris flipped the intro and turned it into a super mellow beat

I remember when this sample was finally found some time back, fucking blown away by how something like this creates one of the greatest east coast anthems.
