I didn't know this place existed until one just opened near me. I love spicy chicken so I was excited to try it. Wow it is everything I wanted and more. Lately I have been sick of fast food and restaurants in general. They just dont feel worth the money. The only places that I cared to go to at all was Culver's and Chick fil a. Now I only care to go to Dave's. I love that I can pick the level of spice. I love that I can eat a quick meal there for $7.50 and actually feel it was worth it. I'm using the app now so I can pick the food up immediately and I earn rewards for free food.

I made a thread in here about Popeyes awhile back. Glad i will never waste my time at that shit hole again.

You had me at 7.50

Dont get me wrong it's not a cheap place. The first time I went I spent $20 just trying a full meal. Don't buy drinks there. It's just super expensive soda. I saw on the app today that you can buy 10pc chicken bites for the same price as one slider. They actually gave me 12 pieces with sliced bread and pickles. I was full from that and for only 7.50 it was so worth it.

I tried it for the first time a couple weeks ago, I wasn’t sure how hot to try so I went with one of the moderate levels of heat. It wasn’t hardly hot at all, next time I’ll level up. I do like it.

Would hammer their hottest 10 piece bites and enjoy some sweating.

I'm not over eating so I think I'll be fine. I get regular check ups at the doctor so if an issue is found I'll take it seriously.
Nice get your spicy fried chicken on mang.

unfortunately I had a bad experience first time trying Dave’s at like 3 pm barely crowded. The chicken was rubbery. I wanted to drive back so bad and get crazy.

I started with medium which didn't seem hot at all. Then I tried hot and it was my level of hot. I'm not planning on going to very hot and definitely not reaper.

For you psychos out there you have to sign a waiver to eat the reaper chicken.

the nearest one is 20 miles away, which is 34 mins

worth it or na?

Not worth it at all.

If you normally eat even somewhat healthy, it'll seem like poison to you. It's just cheap standard greasy ass food. Basically a half cut above 7-11.

Went there when they opened one here and the chicken was over seasoned.
Got the spiciest level and it was really fucking hot which I like, but the saltiness on top of that was overwhelming. Wasn’t easy on the gut either.
I’ll probably make my own next time I crave it.

I had this type of chicken when I was in Nashville. I wonder how Dave's stacks up to the food truck next to my hotel. Nashville hot chicken was served with pickles and some slices of white bread and drenched in the hot sauce which seemed like a simple mix of oil and cayenne pepper and other spices. Delicious!

I've had the reaper before. It's hot but not inedible or anything. There was also no waiver.

Interesting. I wonder if they added in a waiver later or just skipped having you sign one.
