Living in Delaware:
Delaware is a small state on the East Coast of the United States. Despite its small size, it offers a mix of urban and suburban environments. Cities like Wilmington, Dover, and New Castle provide different experiences. Wilmington, the largest city, has a vibrant downtown area with various restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Dover, the state capital, has a more relaxed atmosphere and is known for its historical sites. New Castle, located near Wilmington, is a charming town with a rich colonial history. Delaware has a relatively low cost of living compared to some neighboring states.

MMA Scene in Delaware:
Delaware has a growing MMA scene, although it may not be as prominent as in larger states. The state has local promotions and gyms that offer training for aspiring fighters and enthusiasts. Regional MMA events are hosted in Delaware, providing opportunities for local fighters to showcase their skills. While Delaware may not be known for producing many famous UFC fighters or renowned martial artists, there are talented individuals who train and compete in various disciplines.

Notable Fighter from Delaware:
One notable fighter from Delaware is Din Thomas. He was born on November 15, 1976, in Wilmington, Delaware. Din Thomas had a successful career in mixed martial arts, competing in multiple weight classes and organizations. He fought in promotions like the UFC, primarily in the lightweight division. Din Thomas displayed proficiency in striking, grappling, and submissions throughout his career. In addition to his fighting career, he has transitioned into coaching and training, serving as a coach on "The Ultimate Fighter" reality TV show and working as a trainer at the American Top Team (ATT) gym in Florida.

Best Places for Chicken Sandwiches:
Delaware, like many states, has a variety of restaurants and eateries serving delicious chicken sandwiches. Here are a few popular recommendations:
  • Capriotti's Sandwich Shop: Known for its mouthwatering sandwiches, including the famous "Bobbie" made with roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo. They have multiple locations across the state.
  • Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen: A gastropub located in Newark and Kennett Square, offering a variety of tasty sandwiches. Their signature chicken sandwich features herb-marinated grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, and garlic aioli.
  • Ulysses American Gastropub: Situated in Wilmington, Ulysses is known for its elevated pub fare. They serve a crispy buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with house-made pickles and spicy mayo.
  • The Starboard: Located in Dewey Beach, this beachside restaurant is famous for its lively atmosphere and delicious food. They serve the popular "Big Fat Greek Chicken" sandwich, featuring a grilled chicken breast topped with feta cheese, tzatziki sauce, and Greek salad.

Dude your fucking legend!

Thank you so much for the list. I formed an LLC in Delaware and I am in Canada. Never been to U.S but Delaware has been a godsend with my budding business which I am grateful for.

I always wanted to visit L.A or California in general but it looks nothing like what it used to be. Delaware was not something I was interested in and people mentioned there are tons of serial killers which kind of spooked me.

The only pop culture facts I knew about Delaware is what my man posted below:

I’m sure it’s fine. There are a few rules though...

Hell Yeah!

Fight club is in Delaware and so is my LLC and also I have to talk to few lawyers as I am planning to expand. Taxes are a bit insane in Canada while U.S and Canada have a tax treaty and so if I do my thing in US or Delaware, then I do not have to do any taxes in Canada.

Hence I must visit Delaware and the visit will have a purpose vs just a random visit.

Beautiful song, its like the relaxing song from the early 2000s.

Glad I made this thread in the wrong forum. Amazing answers!

in todays definition we have to correlate delaware with politics. joe biden is from delaware so all liberals will claim it is one of the best states ever cant do no wrong in that stae. republicans will claim it is a liberal shithole full of degenerates...
from a personal experience i lived 3 miles from the delaware border for 8 years. i never once drove into that state. it offered nothing the state i lived in didnt offer.

Dela is the youngest sister of Demarcus Ware, also cousin of Andre Ware.

Small state where every resident rolls their eyes when someone says "Dela-Where?"

You can thank ChatGPT and OpenAI for the entirety of that text.

Wilmington is more south Philly.
Beaches to the south are a tourist destination in the summer time. I worked in Dewey Beach every summer from ages 16 to 22 , beach towns are fun.
State is dry on Sundays, so we drove to Maryland for beer on Sundays.
Lots of Chicken plants in southern Delaware which put off a nasty odor.
Fishing is great, beaches are cool, but the northern part is more populated. All my family still lives in Delaware.
Scrapple, corn and Blue crabs are the foods you must eat. Go to the Scrapple Festival in Bridgeville every fall.
Dover has a casino, and a race track that Nascar shows up to twice a year or at least used too, it might be once now, since I currently live in Florida, I only get back at least once every 2 years.
Any questions just @ me in this thread.

I work in Newark on Fridays, I really like the area and the people. I've been thinking of moving there maybe within a year.
