I actually had (have?) one that was old enough to not be as articulated as the later ones, plus he had the nice WWII uniform and M1 to boot.  Still was as smooth as a Ken doll, personally I think Ken was into the rough stuff and Joe was happy to oblige.

/Wonder if any of my boxes still have this crap

I moved so often I lost almost everything I owned as a kid. The only things I managed to hold onto were a few books and a nearly complete set of Aurora's Prehistoric Scenes models. Don't have the room to salvage those poor things.
