Damn Drew, I knew Google pulling ads really put a squeeze on you, but this is not the right way to make up for that.

I'd say it's even money that some people are going to have a few horses go up their back stretch, racing hard on their way coming home.

Throw in a coked out black bear, and a couple angry lesbians and we could turn this into a sequel to The Bluegrass Conspiracy.

All the really good Derby parties happen in Lexington.

/and Keeneland is a particularly awesome place to watch the Derby...at least it was when they let you bring your own coolers in.

Lexington has its share of Derby parties too.  And Goldfinger flew into there even though he was going to Fort Knox.

Read the names of the criminals.  M13 is in Kentucky?  How 'bout we build that wall ASAP and keep Mr. Rosas' type where they can't hurt us?

Funny how they conveniently ran that stop sign that allowed police to pull them over.

Yep.

Or they may have had a tail light out, or forgot to signal, etc.

I still think that my favorite there was when a private jet went through the wall and ended up almost at Keeneland. The pilot was described as a "businessman" and the young 20 something also on board was dwscribed as an "executive assistant" hired the day before two spend two weeks on safari in africa with him.

When was that? Only plane crash I remember that ended up on Versailles Rd was an air ambulance crash that killed an older lady and injured her husband.

I think that was in the mid to late 80's. My wife's parents live right by the airport in Versailles and we often drove over from Louisville to visit when I had the misfortune of working at Appliance Park.

Here is a link to the really bad one that killed 49 in 2006. The one you were thinking of was in 2002?

The only one I can remember is this one:

It happened just before Man O' War was completed and they reconfigured the entrance to the airport.

This one was a take off... all that I remember other than the hooker who was hired the day before to spend two weeks in Africa. And how the Woodford Sun danced around the issue.

I remember the one that killed 49, I just didn't know any other ones that ended up in the middle of the road.

2002 sounds right. I just remember it was before Lil Bee came along and he was born in 2006.
