Welcome to another edition of Grooming Gods, a weekly recap of the best men's grooming highs (and sometimes lows) courtesy of our favorite stylish gentlemen across the globe. This week we're taking a look at six talented men who rock empirically great grooming looks.
Ryan Reynolds' Tidy AF Scruff
Ryan Reynolds is one of those guys that looks borderline job-interview ready at all times. That's in part because his style is relentlessly polished, but also because he's impeccably well groomed. Pulling off-perma stubble like this is about staying on top of beard trims, and keeping the lines of your haircut fresh at all times. Taking care of your skin also helps; moisturizer is your friend.
Dwayne Wade and LeBron James' Game-Day Beards
Dwayne Wade and LeBron James are incredible athletes, outstanding dressers, and also happen to have their facial hair situation sorted out. Namely, their bead-to-hair ratio is damn near perfect. There are guys in the NBA with crazier grooming situations (Jeremy Lin included), but if we're calling out the ones you should copy, these two are it.
Miles Tellers' Young Hollywood Waves
Lately we've been feeling short haircuts that allow a guy's natural hair texture to express itself up top. It's a way to do a high-and-tight fade without looking like a Mad Men extra. Jonah Hill is a great example of this. Miles Teller, too. The 30-year-old actor's groomed curls and clean sides are a match made in men's grooming heaven.
Jeff Goldblum's Monochromatic Gray
Jeff Goldblum has enjoyed some hair highs, as well as some understandable lows, over the years. His current cut is a very high high. Bright silver with enough length on top to give him the smooth-talking, jazz-musician vibe he deserves, it is the very definition of grooming goals. This is especially true when we wears monochromatic shades of gray and looks like Jeff Goldblum from the year 2047.
Taylor Kitsch's Expert Fade
Divorcing Taylor Kitsch from the character he played in Friday Night Lights, Tim Riggins, starts with the hair. Riggins was the angsty teen with greasy, chin-length hair. Kitsch is a man of 36 and a star in one of the year's big movies, Only the Brave. For this he has his hair chopped short and styled sans part, straight up. As much as Riggins nailed the bad teen trope, Kitch is owning his important-actor status with this cut.
