As the Senate is trying to force health care through and an investigation into Donald Trump's potential obstruction of justice continues, here we are with more weird Russia connections to our president. First, there's a report from the Miami Herald that alleges that a Russian official with ties to the intelligence community has spent a giant amount of money on Trump condos in Florida.

Zorin and Mangushev have ties in both Russia and the United States: In Russia, security firms that have been linked to Mangushev have won $2.4 million worth of contracts from Zorin’s agency since 2015. In Miami, Mangushev once transferred a Florida company that owned a $1.5 million condo out of his name and into Zorin’s. No deed of sale was recorded, meaning the price paid — if any — is unknown.

The condo is one of three units Zorin owned at Trump Palace, a ritzy tower in Sunny Isles Beach built by a local developer and branded by the Trump Organization. Their total value? $5.4 million. Zorin still owns two condos there, plus a $3.3 million home in Bal Harbour.

And sure, this is just more classic Trump-Russia money nonsense, and if Trump were a good politician, he'd dismiss it and pivot to the idea of holding Russia accountable for their attack on our election. But Donald Trump is an agent of chaos and instead the story coming out of the White House is this: He wants to meet with Vladimir Putin.

President Donald Trump is eager to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin with full diplomatic bells and whistles when the two are in Germany for a multinational summit next month...

There are big risks, though. Trump is known to veer off-script, creating the possibility for a high-stakes diplomatic blunder. In a brief Oval Office meeting with top Russian diplomats last month, Trump revealed highly classified information about an Islamic State group threat to airlines that was relayed to him by Israel, according to a senior administration official. The White House defended the disclosures as “wholly appropriate.”

Trump just can't help himself. You give him an opportunity to suck up to Russia, he's going to take it. Of course if you give him the chance to talk about poor people or minorities, and he'll find a way to insult him. You know, just how you want your president to behave.
