Owning your own modem is one of the easiest ways to stick it to your ISP, and you can pick one up while also upgrading your router for one low price today.

$120 gets you a NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1750 router and a DOCSIS 3.0 model with maximum download speeds of nearly 700mbps. That’s $40 less than buying both separately, and a great deal considering that the modem will pay for itself in just a few short months.

SONOS pioneered the multi-room audio category, and now Alexa can do it too, but Aukey’s solution looks like a great, affordable alternative.

These AudioLink speakers feature dual 10W drivers and two passive subwoofers, so they should be plenty loud. They’re also IPX5 water resistant, so you could probably keep one outside. The real kicker though? They can run off a built-in battery for over seven hours on a charge, so you can rearrange them at will if you’re throwing a party.

They communicate with each other over a 5.8GHz Wi-Fi connection, so you won’t have to connect them to your home Wi-Fi or fiddle with a bunch of settings. If you live in a mansion, that could be a problem, but their ~100 foot range should be more than enough for most setups. Just use promo code AUKEYSK6 at checkout to save $15.

Of all the aluminum laptop stands out there, the Griffin Elevator might just be the best looking of the bunch. $30 is about $10 less than usual, and the best price ever. It even comes in gold.

They might not be wireless and don’t have a fancy brand name, but $38 is a really great deal on active noise cancelling headphones (which is very different from noise isolating headphones).

They even come with the microphone and in-line controls very similar to Apple headphones. Plus, with a 4-star review from over 800 customers, it’s worth giving them a try.

The Qi charging pads that Apple sells in the Apple Store cost $60. This one from Seneo works just as well, props up your phone like a stand, and is only $13. So whether you just got a new iPhone, or have owned Qi-enabled Android phones for years, this is a great price.

Just when you thought you knew everything there was to know about cable management, the depths of Amazon toss you a surprise. This magnetic cable clip system includes one magnetic base that you can stick anywhere via its included adhesive, and three magnetic clips that you attach to your most-used cables, allowing them to stick to the base effortlessly.

There are surely less expensive cable holders out there—we post deals on them frequently—but the allure of just dropping your cable onto a magnetic base and knowing that it’ll stay put is pretty darn cool.

Apple’s MacBooks only have two ports these days: USB-C and a headphone jack. And while USB-C is definitely a good thing, the world might not be quite ready to ditch all of our old connectors. Luckily, this $30 dongle can turn one of those USB-C ports into four standard USB ports, an HDMI port, and a USB-C passthrough for power.

Anker’s SoundCore blew away the competition to take the title of your favorite affordable Bluetooth speaker, and today, you can pick one up for $25 right now on Amazon, the best price we’ve seen since Prime Day.

I’ve owned this thing for over a year, and I feel like I never charge it. If anything, its quoted 24 hours of battery life is a conservative estimate. It also sounds fantastic for a speaker of its size.

The best camera is the one you always have with you, but that’s much more likely to be your DSLR if you buy this $7 case from AmazonBasics.

The most versatile member of Anker’s insanely popular PowerCore battery pack family pulls double duty as a USB wall charger, and you can get it for just $21 with promo code KINJAFSN.

I’ve owned the Fusion since it launched earlier this year, and it’s an indispensable part of my bag. Now, rather than traveling with a wall charger, a battery pack, and a microUSB cable to recharge said battery, all I need is the Fusion and my Apple charging cables. You can read all of my impressions here, and then head over to Amazon to get yours for $21.

It’s new iPhone season, and whether you’ve already preordered an 8, are anxiously awaiting the X, or are just sticking with your current phone for another year, some of your favorite Anker accessories are on sale right now, as well as brand new cases from Anker’s Karapax brand.

VPNs are in the news these days, and with good reason. So if you’re curious to sign up and start protecting your browsing history and personal data (or, you know, getting around websites’ geoblocks), NordVPN charges less per month than a typical trip to Starbucks.

NordVPN has long been one of the most popular and reliable VPN providers out there, and if you sign up for a one-year membership, promo code VIP70 will drop your annual price from $69 to $48. If you’re sure you want to commit, use this link instead to get a special two year plan for $79 with code 2YSpecial2017. Lifehacker has recommended Nord in some previous guides, but if you have any firsthand experience with the service, sound off in the comments!

Dyson vacuums dominated the nominations in our Kinja Co-Op for best vacuum, but they can be prohibitively expensive. Today though, refurbs of the popular Dyson Small Ball Multi Floor are down to $220 on Amazon, one of the best prices we’ve seen.

The Dyson Small Ball includes a brush that automatically adjusts when you move from carpets to hard floors, a powerful accessory hose, and yes, a ball that it rest on for easy maneuverability. The Small Ball is better suited for apartments or homes without a ton of storage space, as it’s somewhat smaller and lighter than a full-sized Dyson.

Just remember that this price is only available today, and will probably sell out early, so get yours before they’re all sucked up.

We all know that hang-drying clothes is better for them in the long run than using a dryer, but it’s just such a pain to find places to hang them all. This $23 rack looks to solve that with two tiers of drying racks, built-in clothes hangers, and a fold-up design that allows it to fit into the corner beside your washing machine when not in use.

A heat gun probably isn’t something you’ll use every day, but it’s definitely worth having one in your toolbox (just look at a few of the ideas from Lifehacker on this post), especially when it only costs $12. Just remember, as much as it looks like a Star Trek phaser, it’s not a toy.

Robotic vacuums are so affordable and ubiquitous now, it almost makes sense to start building a fleet of them.

While it lacks the brand recognition of a Roomba, and we can’t personally vouch for them like we can for the Eufy RoboVac 11, this ILIFE A4S vacuum has very good reviews, and is insanely affordable today at $144 with promo code 6GNQOI9X. Now you’ll have more time to clean the bathroom!

1050 lumens is very bright for a flashlight, and $27 is a great price for one that powerful. It’s especially notable though for a flashlight with IP68 water resistance (basically, you can dive with it) and an included rechargeable battery. Just don’t point it in anyone’s face.

Rachio brought home sprinkler systems into the smartphone age, and their 8-zone system is cheaper than ever on Amazon, today only.

These irrigation ontrollers can automatically adjust watering schedules based on the weather, and if you want to keep tabs on it, its iOS and Android app will show you how much water you’re using (and saving), and allow you to make any adjustments necessary, no matter where you are in the world. They even work with Alexa, so you can water your lawn with nothing but your voice. All of these smarts mean that the IRO can save you over 50% on your outdoor water use, so it should pay for itself over time. It’s also EPA WaterSense Certified, meaning your local water company might offer you a rebate for purchasing it.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, the space under our car seats is probably pretty disgusting right now, especially if you’re a parent (of dogs or humans). This handy little $24 vacuum with promo code RETECK21 can help change that.

It’s specifically designed for your car, plugging into your car’s power source and picking up everything from crumbs and pet hair to wet messes like water or mud. It even comes with special brushes to get in those hard-to-reach places. You’re probably paying about that much for a car wash and interior vacuum cleaning, so this guy will pay for itself almost immediately.

This $20 Igloo won’t keep ice frozen until the heat death of the universe like those fancy YETI-style coolers, but sometimes, all you need is a big-ass cooler to keep drinks cold for an afternoon, and that’s exactly what this is.

Look, it’s not a Herman Miller or anything, but a desk chair with 360 degree swiveling, height adjustment, and recline for $43 is an insanely good deal if you’re looking to outfit your home office. You can get it in all black, or choose from three different accent colors if you have bad taste.

Anker’s Roav brand, the manufacturer of an incredibly popular dash cam, is expanding its product line with the release of the SmartCharge, and you can save $6 on yours today with promo code ANKERFMA.

The SmartCharge is a Bluetooth FM transmitter that takes the Bluetooth signal from your phone, and rebroadcasts it the FM radio station of your choice, giving you truly wireless audio and handsfree calls in older vehicles that don’t have Bluetooth built in. And since this is an Anker brand, you also get two high speed USB charging ports.

We’ve seen plenty of products that do this before, but the SmartCharge has one more trick up its sleeve: a car finder. Once you turn off your car and Bluetooth disconnects, the Roav app will drop a pin on a map, and help you find your vehicle later. You probably don’t need that feature very often, but it could come in handy on confusing city streets, or sprawling stadium parking lots.

Several weeks ago, we posted a deal on a notebook that you could erase up to five times by putting it in the microwave. Needless to say, reactions were mixed.

But some of you pointed out that the same company had a new notebook that could be erased basically indefinitely with nothing but a damp cloth, and that model is cheaper than ever today.

The Rocketbook Everlast does carry over the Wave’s smart symbols, a series of seven glyphs on the bottom of each page that you can cross out with a pen. Once you scan the page with Rocketbook’s app, those symbols tell the app where to send the page. Cross out the horseshoe and scan the page with the app, and it’ll automatically upload to, say, Evernote. Draw an X through the star, and it’ll go to Google Drive. You can specify what each of these symbols do in the app, so it’s easy to customize the notebook for your workflow.

The scanning features are important, because the Everlast isn’t meant to keep your notes indefinitely. Once you fill up the 32 pages with a Pilot Frixion pen (one is included), you can just grab a wet cloth, and wipe the whole thing clean to start again.

We’re getting ready to round up the countless and ever-improving ways to make coffee on the go or in the woods, but until LUME, the most important product in that process, the grinder, was literally a hand crank.

LUME is a portable, USB rechargeable, conical ceramic burr coffee grinder that doubles as a flashlight, and there are still preorders available at just $59 as of this writing. Total no-brainer/godsend for coffee drinking travelers and campers.

You’ve listed these AmazonBasics Velvet Suit Hangers as one of your all-time favorite hangers. They lined with velvet to keep slinky shirts from slipping and they’re cheap. Really cheap. Priced at just $18 today for a 50-pack, that’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen outside of some short-lived coupons. This is perfect timing for a closet revamp as you move your fall wardrobe out of storage.

This 4-tier greenhouse has a small enough footprint to fit on just about any balcony or patio, and is perfect for urban gardeners looking to grow their own vegetables, herbs, and flowers. This will probably sell out quickly though, so pick one up before they’re all harvested.

Detergent pods are the easiest way to do the laundry, and with Amazon’s $2 coupon, they’re also one of the cheapest. The coupon applies to tons of different pod varieties from Tide and Gain, but just remember that you won’t see the discount until checkout, and that some of the options are only available through Prime Pantry.

Anker makes smart light bulbs now, because of course they do, and today’s your first chance to get them at a discount.

The standard 2700K white bulb is $3 off, down to $17, but I’d probably recommend paying a few bucks more for the tunable white model.

While both bulbs can be dimmed with your smartphone (even if your lamp doesn’t have a dimmer), the tunable bulb can output just about any shade of white, from sunlight-simulating daylight to Edison-style warm white. It sounds like a small thing, but different shades of light can seriously boost your productivity, or help you relax when it’s almost time for bed.

You can control either of these bulbs with your smartphone via the free Eufy Home app, but the real fun is controlling them with your voice via Alexa. Any Alexa-enabled device can do this, but we happen to have an exclusive discount on the Eufy Genie, which is very similar to an Echo Dot, only cheaper. Just use code KINJA000 at checkout to get it for $30.

Shopping for pillows can be a snoozefest but pillows are something that should be replaced every once in a while. If you can’t remember the last time you bought some new ones, Amazon has got you covered today.

At $25 for a 2-pack with promo code CMYD7QKK, they’re a good deal for hypoallergenic, breathable pillows that have the right amount of stuffing for everyone from stomach to side sleepers.

You’ve heard of Automatic’s smart driving assistant, but if $80-$100 is too rich for your blood, this cheap OBD2 dongle connects to your Android device over Bluetooth, and can fulfill many of the same functions using various third party apps.

If you’re like me and didn’t shell out the extra money for temperature-controlled seats last time you bought a car, you can now add those in for just $50 with promo code KY76786E. The Naipo Seat Cushion heats AND cools to keep you comfortable no matter the season.

The cushioned seat can plug in into your car’s power outlet or into any normal wall plug for office or home use. $50 is small price to pay when you could be saying goodbye to back sweat forever.

Kershaw’s popular Leek knife is a great general-purpose fold-out blade, and an absolute steal at $30. That’s within about a couple bucks of the best price Amazon’s ever listed on this 4.7 star-rated knife; just remember to take it out of your pocket before you go to the airport.

No matter your sports supplement of choice, you can probably save $20 on it today on Amazon.

Dozens of energy supplements, protein products, and vitamins are included in this sale. All you have to do is fill your cart with $60 worth of eligible products (shipped and sold by Amazon), and you’ll automatically see a $20 discount at checkout. There’s a lot to sort through here, so leave your suggestions and favorite products in the comments.

You’ve probably seen True & Co. across various social media platforms, telling you to take their fit quiz and to find your perfect size. Try them out and find a bra that really fits you during their Hump Day Sale. Choose from 12 different bras, all marked down to just $8. They’re all final sale, don’t go above a DD, and they’re all push-up, but if you’re a valiant member of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee, this sale is for you.

One of your favorite electric toothbrushes is $20 off, bringing it down to $129, the lowest price we’ve seen outside of a short-lived coupon.

It has a crazy amount of features, including a position guide you can read on your phone to help you never miss a spot. The brush head knows the exact amount of pressure to use to take care of sensitive gums and the travel case can even charge your phone. So when you think about it, $129 is pretty cheap for a teeth-cleaning robot.

Whether you wear TOMS for the ease of never having to tie your shoes or just dig the style, this is one deal you should take advantage of. They’re having their End of Season Sale, with an extra 25% off select styles with promo code EXTRA25. Now you have a real reason to throw out your old, gross ones.

When it comes to having a corner on the market, nothing really compares to Nike. And right now, use the code SUMMER20 and take an extra 20% off their sale styles for both men and women. Everything you could need for a good workout wardrobe is included, from apparel, to sneakers, to gear.

Foam rollers are great for soothing aching muscles, and this 13" model will only set you back $14 today with code 4CZ8TQKY. I’d say that’s a better use of your money than 5 minutes at a massage parlor.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1WNUQO?kinja_price=14&kinja_promocode=4CZ8TQKY

Flannels are great but for some reason are never priced reasonably enough to warrant a new one (even if the one you have has holes in the elbows). But alas! Uniqlo has them marked down to only $25, both men’s and women’s styles. You don’t need to be a hipster or a lumberjack to wear these, I promise (unless you are one, then cool).

BioLite, maker of our favorite camping stoves and lighting, is back with a FirePit we’ve been psyched about since we saw it in action back in December. Their Kickstarter launched today and is already... on fire.

The BioLite FirePit is easy to transport, minimizes smoke, is see-through for maximum fire viewing, uses wood or charcoal, and doubles as a hibachi grill. The FirePit doesn’t recharge your phone with the power of flames like some of BioLite’s other products (at least not directly, but its battery pack does have a USB charger onboard), but its built-in circulation fan does recharge itself using a solar cover, and can optionally be app-controlled.

Kickstarter preorders include that solar cover for free, but about a third of the units available at the $199 level are already gone, so don’t let this one smolder.

http://gear.lifehacker.com/grill-press-coffee-and-charge-your-phone-anywhere-wit-1795343571#_ga=2.139980787.1188966365.1505738720-269817894.1504621571

The Action Jacket by Jumper Threads is by no means the first packable jacket, but it is feature-packed, designed with the fact that cell phones exist in mind, and an easy recommendation at Kickstarter preorder prices. Plus they have an awesome logo.

The Action Jacket is water repellant, vented, breathable, packable, reflective, adjustable all over, ultralight, and doesn’t skimp on the pockets. We’ve been wearing one off and on for a few weeks, and if your outerwear arsenal is lacking an analog to this, don’t hesitate.

Amazon is trying to keep you and your shopping habits healthy. Spend $25 on pretty much anything from Amazon.com and get 1 free bottle of featured Amazon Elements vitamins or supplements with code PRIMEVITAMIN.

Note: This promotion is exclusive to Amazon Prime members.

It’s about time you do some cleaning out of your drawers. Get rid of those laundry-day-only undies in favor of something you’ll actually like wearing. Aerie is giving you 8 undies for only $29, no code needed, which is kind of insane seeing as they usually sell them for $12+.

ThinkGeek is helping the nerds in your life get ready for back-to-school. Score up to 80% off of a ton of products and apparel during their Fall Blowout Clearance. There are seriously hundreds of items to choose from, which means every corner of geekdom is covered by this sale.

It’s time to start planning your outdoor adventures, and Backcountry is gonna help you out in the gear department. Take advantage of an extra 20% off select styles. Gear, apparel, shoes, and more are all fair game, which means outfitting for your next outdoor adventure just costs you a whole lot less.

Dorco’s insane razor discounts continue unabated this week with the Pace Power, just $3 with code KINJA918A. The Pace Power looks like a regular razor handle, but pop a AAA battery in there, and it can lightly vibrate to help lift hairs for an easier shave. It’ll work with any of Dorco’s standard cartridges, but this particular bundle includes a Pace 6 blade to get you started.

Amazon recently launched their Unique Finds section, which contain hand-picked and curated items across a ton of categories, like home goods, gadgets, apparel, and more. And now, Prime Members can grab a discount of 15% or more a select few brands. This month, they’re featuring jewelry brands Slipada and La Regis Jewelry, handboard-maker Slyde, phone accessory company Mengo, and home goods brands Avvio and Willow & Everett.

We see 15% iTunes gift card discounts on eBay from time to time, but today Amazon’s offering a 10% discount on $100 gift cards, the first iTunes credit discount they’ve ever offered, at least to my knowledge.

Obviously, 10% < 15%, but if you have some iTunes gift cards you want to use, or the Amazon Prime Store Card which gets you 5% back on Amazon purchases, this could make sense. I’m going to buy this and spend every cent on iOS 11 AR games.

Amazon’s running a Marvel digital comic sale that’s bigger than any Avengers movie today, with literally thousands of titles marked down to just a few bucks, in most cases. You’ll find everything from the Guardians of the Galaxy to Darth Vader to Deadpool to Captain America in there, and every hero in between, so there’s never been a better time to stock your digital shelves.

The selection is overwhelming (400 Amazon pages, or over 6,000 titles!), so we’ll drop a few safe bets below, but definitely leave your own suggestions in the comments.

Get Out was a lot more than a typical horror movie, so even if you aren’t typically a fan of the genre, you should absolutely add it to your Blu-ray collection for $10. You also get a digital copy, and even an alternate ending.

If you want to land a tech job, but are constantly held back by being a big ol’ dummy, boy do we have a deal for you today.

Humble’s latest ebook bundle includes 15 “For Dummies” books to help you with every aspect of landing a job, from writing your cover letter to learning basic python. As always, the books are split between three different tiers, but you can name your own price.

Top Gaming Deals

Seagate’s FireCuda is one of the most popular PS4 replacement hard drives out there, mostly thanks to its built-in 8GB of flash storage that can speed up loading times, and you can get the 1TB model for $56 today, within a couple bucks of an all-time low.

Even if you don’t feel like cracking open your PS4, you could pop this into an inexpensive enclosure like this one, and use it as an external drive with the PS4's new firmware.

Update 9/20: Back in stock on Amazon, Microsoft, GameStop, and Best Buy. If you don’t see it at one store, check the others.

I probably wouldn’t expect Nintendo-like supply shortages, but if you want to be absolutely sure to get an Xbox One X at launch, preorders are live now.

If you go to the store, or even Amazon to buy an Xbox One S Battlefield 1 bundle, you can expect to spend about $250. Today though, you’ll spend $10 less by buying it from eBay, and get a bonus copy of Destiny 2, and even an extra controller.

Humble’s second Very Positive Bundle is built around one core concept, and it’s a good one: Positive user reviews on Steam. All eight games here boast at least 88% positive ratings from players, so there isn’t a stinker in the bunch, even if you may not have heard of every title.

As always, different games are locked behind different price tiers, but this one has a special $80 fourth tier which includes Middle Earth Shadow of War and a Shadow of War t-shirt.

We’ve been (constantly) playing with SnapDice for a few weeks now. The “game” combines metal dice with a wooden tray that contains a powerful magnet, with a focus on materials and design. Because there are so many wood and dice options, pricing is all over the place, but whatever you choose, you can save by preordering.

Whether you choose to play dice games with SnapDice, make up your own, or use your SnapDice gear for other games that feature dice rolls, the satisfying snap of the dice to the magnet makes whatever you’re doing that much more fun. Also a great way to distract and/or annoy coworkers.

This isn’t a deal per se, but given Nintendo’s track record of keeping hardware in stock, you may want to buy the New 3DS XL Samus Edition now, while it’s available.

You can load up your PS4's hard drive with a whole bunch of discounted digital games right now, courtesy of Amazon.
