Max Holloway brilliantly responds to Conor McGregor

If Max could make 100 mil to fight Mayweather he would do exactly what Conor did.

Max Holloway is a true champ and a great role model

But you cannot hate on what Conor did, it is prize-fighting and Conor is the most successful fighter in MMA history in that regard.

Max may eventually go down as the better fighter in terms of accomplishments but Conor has achieved a lot in a short space of time.

max probably has the best reactions to conors usual talk, keeps it classy and responds well each time

Hey look, another McGregor thread.

It's clearly a jab at Conor not defending a belt...any belt

N/m you edited out the part you wrote about what Max posted not even being about Conor

Holloway gave Aldo a rematch and also defended the belt. 2 things Mcgregor said he would do and should have done but didn't.

Holloway, Aldo > Conor

Max and Jose are real champions. Conor is a fraud.

I'm sure Max has enough money to live a good standard of living. I don't understand our society's obsession with money or the motivation to have more than you need, whilst others go without. It's kind of sickening to see one man get the lionshare of the money whilst many fighters get the scraps.

Yes, I understand Conor's market value compared to the other fighters but they also have a right to a fair wage. The more money Conor generates the less I like his schtick, to the point where I feel completely indifferent to his narrative. The rags to riches story was a good one but what about becoming a decent human being who lays the ground work for fair fighter pay?

I don't really blame him, it's more that I'm disappointed because he seemed to have depth of character before the millions.

You got hoodwinked!

Max didnt write that. No "At the end of the day" or "it is what it is."

Max is talking about his accomplishments and about Jose Aldo. I wouldn't call that a response to McGregor as the title of this thread indicates. He barely took a jab at McGregor.

"I always think theres a moment in your career that make you a true champion. Its when you find the motivation to earn what you already have, to defend."

This made me a fan.

Maybe, maybe not.
Max actually wants to be a champion, not just dress like a douche bag and take pictures in cars.
