I have seen videos where A few dozen Isis members line up and execute thousands of people who do nothing to defend themselves.

History is full of stories of thousands of people being meekly executed by a few dozen people.

Most men I know and work with are terrified at the prospect of a fight. A few others talk tough but I doubt they mean it. I hate tough talkers.

I’ve seen lots of videos of Europeans being bullied and beaten up by migrants in Sweden and France and physically running from their own neighbourhoods.

I’ll admit that I’m probably among the weak. I’ve never been in a fist fight as an adult. I think maybe one man in 10 at the bank I work at would be up for a physical fight, if that.

I’ll be honest. I think the high quality of life in a first world country just makes me feel like it’s not worthwhile to possibly get stabbed and die in a gutter at a young age. My own selfishness is just too strong.

I would hope I’d have the courage to fight if women or children were in danger.

Is that what it is? Your level of comfort in life makes you soft? Too much to lose?

Yes i think most people are weak and defenceless. Something that has alway amazed me is the fact females are obsessed with learning how to fight properly or why parents don't insist daughters learn to fight.
In our society females are prey, simple as that.

I'm one of the weak people i suppose, but not as weak as a lot of guys i've seen in my life. I suppose most people just think 'it'll never happen to me.'

a lot may not be ''weak and defenceless'' but more unaware of and how to overcome 'the freeze'' aspect of being in ''fearful'' situations due to an adrenaline dump.

If only they'd watched some UFC and visited the gym, they could easily overcome this and kill those dozen ISIS rats with there bare hands.

how would watching D Level athletes perform some shitty niche sport change anything? i'm just stating a reason why people are ''weak and defenceless'' in all situations of danger, neither you nor I will ever be in the same place as an ISIS fighter, but that fear cripples many people, even when there is a legit route to escape unharmed.

Yes, most people are basically defenceless.

But some people would surprise you, and you should never underestimate anyone.
 
I'm always surprised by how physically weak most people seem. I guess it's the prevelance of sedentary jobs.
 
I don't think a video of a few dozen guys with machine guns vs unarmed families is a proper way to measure if most people are weak. I think people overestimate their strength and skill, or are just too naive to think anything will happen to them. There are a lot of 30+ guys walking around who have done nothing but put on 70 pounds since high school yet consider themselves 'big' guys. I think everyone has worked with the guy who claims he's going to get in shape, hits the gym once, does some bench and curls, then immediately quits because he realizes how soft he is. Most folks would rather live in a pretend world.
 
What country is the first world country in which you live?
 
I remember when I was young and someone would say they had never been in a fist fight or they had never been incarcerated, It always struck me odd. When I got a little older I was able to travel and I quickly realized that I live amongst some of the biggest assholes in the world, hands down.
