I don't have a big collection of wrestlers I have had my picture taken with and then gotten then to autograph the picture of the two of us.

I went to a wrestling convention in Maryland in August of 2006 - it's the convention they usually held in Charlotte but that year they held it in Rockville, Maryland. I think the promoter of the event was named Greg Price. Does that name sound familiar at all?

Anyway, I got a professionally taken picture with Bret "The Hitman" Hart on my right and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart on my left. They both autographed the picture.

I also got a professionally taken picture of Baby Doll and I together which turned out better than I could ever have hoped for; it's a perfect picture of both of us and she autographed it.

I got to meet Rockin' Robin and bought an autographed picture of her but it was oe of many just ike it that were being sold at the convention so I'm not in it. She was incredibly nice and we talked for a while. Despite it being many years since she was a star in The WWF, I think she looked even prettier than she used to look. She always looked cute before but when I saw her in 2006 she looked beautiful.

Although I didn't get a lot of pictures that weekend, I'm very happy with my picture of The Perfect 10 with me and my picture of me standing i between the two members of The Hart Foundation. BTW, "The Anvil" Neidhart may not have been as muscular as he was in his prime, he was still very muscular, and had a massive frame . He's built like a tank. Although Bret hadn't been able to wrestle in years, he was surprisingly big and muscular, especially his arms. he was showing the signs of his stroke, sadly, but was in good spirits and was nice to everyone. I asked Bret Hart: "Did you really punch Vince McMahon as hard as you could?" and he said "Yes I did."

The Hitman back in the day is all I can remember...

Mick Foley back in 1999, right after he won the belt. It was a week before the episode of Raw at the Skydome

He looked miserable, the line was probably a fucking mile long and he wasn't expecting it. I got to hold the belt, that was pretty cool. Then the security was like alright kid get lost after literally 10 seconds, and we waited like 2-3 hours to get the autograph and pic lol

Pete Dunne and Tyler Bates when he was the UK Champ in April, got to hold the belt in the pic too.

I almost got to meet Mick. He was going to appear at Border's Bookstore (when they still existed) for a book signing. I'm thinking that it was either for Tietam Brown or Scooter but in a bizarre turn of events, just a day or two before the book signing was to take place, one of Mick's houses caught on fire and there was extensive damage done. Naturally Mick and his wife went to check on their house which was, I believe, a vacation home on Florida, and the book signing was never re-scheduled.

I’ve done a ton.

HBK (few times)
Bret hart (was super enganging)
Kane (fuck him. Was miserable).
Flash funk
Rvd
Booker t
Hulk hogan (really little I was like 5)

That's real impressive, lakersfan45! We have the Bret Hart one in common. The HBK one is impressive as is the RVD autographed pic.

Of your list I think I would have enjoyed meeting RVD the most. If Mick Foley had been in a good mood that would have been great too.

The biggest disappointment of the 2006 convention for me is that, considering my screen name you can probably guess who it will be about, Blackjack Mulligan was originally scheduled to be there but he became ill and it was legitimate - not just an excuse like some wrestlers make up to get out of these things - so I didn't get to personally meet Blackjack Mullian or get to have my picture taken with him by a pro photographer. Blackjack had a tendency to put on weight as he got older and that just exacerbated his other health problems so sadly he wasn't in very good health in the last 6 or 7 years of his life. :(

Superstar Billy Graham and Dick Slater were also both scheduled to show up and didn't.. regarding those two guys, there was a lot of rumors being spread, especially about Graham, saying that his excuse sounded phony. That was 11 years ago and I don't remember the exact excuse but it was something like he wasn't able to get his prescription medication in time to take it with him on the plane from Arizona to Maryland.

Oh, I got to meet Bobby Eaton there too - very nice guy. :)

Rvd was exactly what you would imagine he would be like

Let me guess: Kind of a big ego but at the same time laid back and chill. A smartass but a genuinely good guy.

Are my preconceived notions accurate?

I met Hilbilly Jim at an appearance at Jumbo Video back in like 89 or 90. Still have the autographed pic! A few years later me and my brother went to Bad Boy furniture store because Razor Ramon was there for an autograph signing. The line was so long that we never got to meet him - I'm sure that Hall wasn't spending an extra minute there that he didn't have to. It was when he had the IC belt, I could see these lucky little pricks posing for pics holding the belt and everything. We waited proably 3 or 4 hours and left with nothing. I did see him outside getting into his limo, and I realized how huge this fucker really was.

I didn’t notice any ego. But the rest is accurate.

Bret Hart. When I showed him the pic, he gave the photographer a 4/10.

Chilled with Terry Funk at a tournament of mine for about an hour, and Jesse Ventura pretended to have heard about me winning first place at another tournament the day I met him. Didn't get any pictures, put I've never been a picture guy, got autographs though.

Wrestling tourney?

Lmao he was rushing the hotel when I saw him saying "No pictures". Seemed cool though, he was just trying to get to his room with his luggage without being swarmed by the nerds in the lobby. Wrestlemania weekend at the hotel for WrestleCon was the mecca of pro wrestling geeks.

Ive seen him do this as well, maybe at a mall? Actually it may have been in his store. Can’t remember who I was meeting at the mall/ store -as I’ve said I’ve met too many wrestlers. But he was walking around trying to do some business and was waving people off but it seemed like he was trying to be polite about it. The time I actually got a picture with him was a formal signing with table set up and time slot ect.

I’ve seen John Cena stay hours after an event to sign autographs and pose for pictures. This shouldn’t Be a suprise.

I’ve told the story about booker t before he was like ur moms a badass u better listen to her. She yelled at him / ivory / HBK Lolz.

I have...

A photo of Rob Van Dam and myself when he stopped by my base in Arkansas. He autographed my copy of Fire Pro Wrestling D for the Dreamcast and he said he loved the Fire Pro Series..

A Stan Hansen action figure from Japan that he autographed and called me "His Brother In Christ."

An autographed photo of "The Red Queen", female Japanese wrestling legend Manami Toyota.

That's one handsome woman... Dang!
