20 days after UFC 217, do you think it was the best card ever?

So do you? And if not... what's your top 3
Mine would be
217 - By far the best for me, underdogs winning all over... Masividal Wonderboy would be worthy of its own card, let alone JJ Rose, Tj Cody and GSP Bisping... all 3 main even fights left me speechless
52 - Insane card with GSP just coming back off the loss to Hughes, I thought he wouldn't be anything special back then, Randy - Chuck Hughes - Trigg
92 - Just an insane card.....

I'm still feeling the buzz from it, so yeah, probably.

I'm even more convinced now than I was at the time when I made approximately half a dozen posts/threads declaring it as such.

Hell, just look at all the hot garbage that's happened in and out of the octagon since!

I can easily count at least 20 much better events

It’s way up there for me.

It was the best Reebok era card since 189.

The goat returned yep I'd say it's one of the best cards ever

Yes, 217 was incredible, probably the best. But UFC 100 was dope too. Look at Jones in there too, just a young prospect.
The 3 main event were crazy too.
The legenday H-Bomb on Bisping. Prime GSP vs prime pitbull. And Brock vs Mir, one of the biggest HW rivalry.

God no...
It was OK but best ever.

A lot of newer fans probably won't want to hear this, but there are quite a few Pride cards that were way more exhilarating to watch unfold.

I'm a HUGE GSP nuthugger though (and to a lesser extent, Bisping) so 217 was a fucking epic event from me. People I knew from over like the last 15 years were lightning up my phone with texts about the fight as it happened, since I have always been such a big GSP fan. I loved it. All the supporting fights were epic that night too. It's in the top 5 UFC cards no doubt. I would probably put UFC 84 and UFC 100 ahead of it though. And top 5 out of the like 500 UFC events that have happened is pretty God damned impressive.

Top 5, sure. Not the best IMO, but sometimes the experience is impacted by intangibles like the buzz before a fight one's been anticipating. If someone was a huge GSP fan I could see that putting 217 over anything else.

Don't remember cards really, only fights, unless it was a tourney like uu2. 217 was epic though. UFC camera crew/production team desrves credit as well, especially after each ko. Awesome show.
