UFC 201 - Robbie Lawler (c) - 07/30/16
UFC 205 - Stephen Thompson (1) - 11/05/16
UFC 209 - Stephen Thompson (1) - 03/09/17
UFC 214 - Demian Maia (3) - 07/29/17

And he has said he is down to fight Covington at the end of the year. Enough said.

I like Tyron to be honest...his negating fight style is boring but very hard to beat...that being said, it's still obvious that he gets merked by dat left hand shot

GSP too

Stipe and MM are on par at least
Mouse fights many cans and Stipe takes super long breaks in between fights. Woodley fights the best guys and stays active. He will likely return before the end of the year even though he injured his shoulder against Maia. A true workhorse.

dont like him either
but he is a very legit champ

I have no problem with the fights Woodley takes. He's making a fool of himself with the Nate Diaz stuff right now though.

Agreed.

But he just gets shit on for unexciting fights vs tough specialist legit number 1 contenders.

Other champs take notice. You are better off throwing a tantrum and fighting popular guys outside of the top 3 so its easier to be exciting. Fans won't give you the credit for being legit that they would if you crush a lesser fighter so why take the risk?

Stipe and MM finish though.....

When did he say this? I thought he only said he was willing to fight Nate this year, anyone else and he would just opt for surgery instead.

Do you have a source?

I also believe he was not at all open to fight Covington, as per MMA Hour this week.

He had an active year, but he’s hung up on “”fights that will get me that legend status” and “money fights”. Fuck that. WW is a shark tank. You wanna be a legend? Clean out the division. Fight Colby and Till. Say what you want about Demetrius, at least he fights all comers in his division

Not sure about Stipe given his long inactivity. MM for sure.

<{outtahere}>

Stipe has finished Hunt, Arlovski, Werdum, Overeem and Dos Santos consecutively.

Now he is trying to get paid.

Tyrons last was his buddy Robbie.

Mouse has fought more great contenders than Woodley has. Your opinion is a fucking joke.

No need to bring your Conor delusion into everything.

IMO Holloway is the most champion-like. He's accomplished more as a contender than most multiple defending champions and has had no issue with fighting top fighters now that he's champ. There are a few good champs out there right now though, including Woodley and Stipe.

Best definition because he's never had a title defence worth watching and UFC has had a piss poor year saturated with unremarkable cards.

So yes, a very apt representation
