I vote Lubu from the Dynasty Warriors games. Dynasty Warriors, the hack and slash war game was great, I have great memories playing this as a kid.

Early in the game you come across a beastly character, Lubu. His style, voice, horse, weapon and entrance music is sooooo Metal.

Doomguy is a great pick.

Auron from FF7 was pretty badass

Dante - Devil May Cry
Ragnar - Rune: Viking Warlord

In Rune you can use the dismembered body parts of defeated foes as weapons. That's pretty metal.

As a TES fiend, i almost feel shame for not suggesting these beings of headbanging fury. It's like they're incomplete without an ugly, jagged metal guitar on their back.

So true. I assume his enhanced healing or whatever undermines his status as an emo and heals the cigarette burns that he administers upon himself while listening to My Chemical Romance.

Cyborg Raiden is boss, though. Very metal. Literally metal.

Came into this thread to make fun of OP's pick, but holy fuck he threw down Lubu

Mate I can't make fun of that pick are you fucking kidding me

They did sciencey programming Nerd studies of all the dynasty warrior characters and they found not only did Lubu have a 360 degree range of attack in contrast to a fuckton of characters with directional-dependent attack chains, but his upgraded chains were on average far longer than many sprint-based Dynasty Warrior special combos for maximum damage to maximum enemies en masse

Fucking OP killed it, right out the gate

Lubu is proven by science to kick more ass than any character in his game, and that is a series repeatedly filled with body counts to rival most real world major military conflicts
 
Doomguy for sure, this guy is a solid a runner up
