Northcutt is too big for Pico.
Heck, Linn normally fights at 135 and still looked bigger than Pico in the cage last night.

Pico already fought at 55 and Sage is absolutely terrible. Pico molests him via any method he wants. If Gall was taking him down, then arguably the most talented wrestler in the US should not struggle.

Out of all the UFC vs. Bellator fights I could make, I wouldn't go with this one.

Talented wrestler, but guy likes to strike and its too hittable, not saying Sage´s striking is better, but if they exchange blows like he did Picco is going night night, Sage has fought at WW and doesnt look small there, this guy is a FW.

Sage is terrible. I do t care where he fought, Pico is whupping him anywhere. Pico KO'd Josh Thompson - that's the level he is on.
The reality sad is, Sage is no where near 'UFC level" and if he looked like Barbarena, he would have never been signed and would have been cut long ago. One expects this stuff with straight guys watching girls in MMA, wanting to look at hot chicks, but when it is straight guys wanting to watch hot guys, tuning in owing to how the man looks, it is deeply troubling. Sage makes 3.5 x more than the UFC offered WW Ben Askren - they offered the possible best WW in the world pennies compared to Sage because goof balls bought into the Sage hype, even tho he is a total can.

Source of that? Im not saying Sage is great, or any good...im saying he has fought up to WW, and is fast, considering that in both fights Pico has been hit, and we all know what happened the first time, this time he fought a BW, Sage good or not, its a LW/WW pico is not walking through punches just as easy.

Pico is a smallish 145 even though he was at 155. He wrestled at 65Kg(143) in 2016. The cut in amateur wrestling is not at the same level as MMA. Chances are Pico could make 135 with the standard MMA style re hydration cut.

Not a bad fight, Sage could tear him up standing with his size and technical ability but I could also see Pico outwrestling him fairly comfortably if he implemented the right game plan. He seems a bit hesitant and stiff at the moment, I think the guy has more potential than Sage just needs more time in the cage.

Pico was tiny at 155 and smaller then the 135er he just fought at 145. He trains with TJ and is same size, trains with Justin and is much smaller, trains with Josh and is much smaller, trains with Tyson and is similar height but much thinner, trains with Cejudo and is taller but looks to be same thickness.

I'm not arguing that Sage isn't larger. I'm just saying, if he can't stop that double leg from Mickey Gall, he won't stop it from Pico.
I am not convinced by Sage training at a certain gym will up his game. He trained with Firas and TriStar and looked horrible. Sure, he is talented but I think he suffers from Todd Marinovich Syndrome - he was cultivated and raised to do something by his Dad but lacks the passion to do it. We still have no idea how good Gall is either, and the reality may be, he may not even be 'UFC quality'. Then again, in a time when UFC I see letting Larkin, Romac and Tumenov walk, when they offer Askren 30K and pay Sage 100k, "UFC quality" has lost it's meaning.

This was picos second fight let him evolve and get a few wins before comparing him with anyone.
Hes still a kid....he will fill out just like goiti yamauchi did,once he does and gets experience he will be the champion this kid is crazy good.
