I caught the premier last night and it's pretty good, so far. I especially liked whatever they did to the color saturation of the skies to make south central la in 1983 look....different. Extremely blue skies. Maybe that's how la looked back then with less smog? Idk but it was a nice touch.
Anyway, it shows 3 points of view at the beginning of the crack epidemic. The south central, black community's view. A mexican luchador's view (he relates to a cartel somehow, i think). And a white, exiled CIA officer's view.
Not sure how it's gonna go from here, but the premier was good. Anybody else see it?
