Who are some fighters, regardless of what style, do yall find a lot of insight from studying? And what do you find particularly interesting about those fighters?

Vasily, Zambidis, buakaw, DJ, Matt Hughes, Rockhold, Rory, and Roger Gracie, are some of my favorites just to name a few....

Aldo: the best TDD of any striker ever, one of the first and most successful fighters to school guys with basic footwork and head movement, all around incredible defense.

Holloway: excellent measuring and control of distance, master of setting the pace, the best bodysnatcher in MMA.

GSP: used little more than a stiff jab, blast double, knee tap, and a few guard passes to become the greatest WW of all time and arguably the P4P GOAT.

Edgar: has been the smaller man in almost every fight but has still never been stopped and only lost to championship caliber fighters. Some of the best feints in MMA, great misdirection and head movement, amazing transitions into his takedowns and once he's on top some great top control, passing and GNP.

Mighty Mouse: Takedowns, clinch, guard passing and submissions on a completely different level. Nobody else is tapping out so many people in championship fights. Also great to study for his discipline and mentality.

Maia: not the most athletic, not the strongest, not the youngest, but still the world's most dangerous backpack.

Jones: the best strategist in MMA history. Nobody systematically dismantles their opponent's strengths like Jones. Also the best clinch fighter in the sport, and one of the most creative fighters ever.

RDA: awesome pressure fighting and cage cutting plus underrated boxing and a heavy kicking game.

Struve: the master of distance management.

If your talking about K1 Hughes, then fine.......but Roger Gracie in the stand up forum!!!!! Really!!!!!!

Get that floor monkey style out of this forum, we stand and bang bro!!!! We don't do that rolling around on the floor cuddling crap.

Man you know I love cracking skulls as much as the next guy, but sometimes I feel like trying to choke another man with his own pajamas.

Keep that shit to the bedroom Bro.....

Masato - text book k1 technique. Box plus low kick.
Maywheater - extremelly good in everything he does. Still he prefers to be a minimalist and win with minimum effort.
Loma and Pirov - exiting style
Klichkos - text book fighters
GGG - control and freaky jab

I've come to really appreciate dillashaw. Took a while but the guy really is a student of the game

Aldo, GSP, Dillashaw are the guys me and my team have been studying these pst few weeks

From a pure stand-up fighting perspective and from my own personal preferences I'd recommend checking out Buakaw, Tyrone Spong, Nieky Holzken, Saenchai, Somrak, Samart, Ernesto Hoost, Glaube Feitosa, Giorgio Petrosyan, Bas Rutten, Tenshin Nasukawa etc.

Here are some good highlight videos of those fighters:
