According to Mr. Sakakibara on Twitter:

[News] Wednesday, May 24 (Wednesday) at 14:00 public press conference Nasukawa Tenshin, Yamamoto Miyu, KING Reina decided to go! It is! Bantam-class GP players, one-match players, about ten guests scheduled to enter.

Me: So I guess they will announced the participants of the GP? Yes!!!!

They hold press conferences to announce future press conferences. Maybe they should save money, just do a press release.

Hopefully they do announce some GP participants.

I don't really have much interest in a BW tournament. Don't get me wrong I like watching the little guys, but I don't have much interest outside of the top 10 when it comes to that weight class.

I think Rizin should focus on HW's and LHW's and work with orgs like M-1 and KSW. They could test some of those prospects with some of Bellators top guys. Big dudes under Pride Rules and freak show fights is what I want to see when it comes to Rizin.

If you don't like watching Tokoro or Horiguchi fight in a 16 man tournament, only the heavies are for you.

I wish there were more events, but I get that they need to build it up. I love having JMMA again.

Currently guys like Horiguchi and Tenshin Nasukawa have the most potential to become big in Japan so it's smart for Rizin to focus on their weight classes.

Only in Japan do you hold a press conference to announce a press conference.
