he was pretty unhappy about his contract and what he was getting paid going Into this fight. Hopefully the UFC pays the man what he deserves
The UFC should pay him what he wants or release the poor guy from that shit contract...he'll be champion wherever he goes, and can get a money from sponsers..cheap motherfuckers.
who knows. Whatever Is fair. I'm not the judge of that. If someone's getting fucked In pay and continues putting up good performances, they deserve to get paid. That's It"Deserves" please explain what that word means to you?
What's "getting fucked"? Of course everyone wants to make more money, but that doesn't mean that they're worth more money. What kind of revenue is he generating for the company? Realistically in the UFC the top 5% of fighters generate 99% of the revenue for the company and the pay should reflect that. Sucks, but thats life.who knows. Whatever Is fair. There's some truth to this, sure. At the same time, there are a lot of fighters out there being underpaid. the UFC has taken a substantial chunk of the pie since It's Inception. Fighters should be getting paid more. Especially In the Interest of growing the sport so that guys like Al Iaquinta don't have to have a job on the side just to make ends meet and can focus all their potential on fighting. What's "getting fucked"? I think paying athletes more money could actually help grow the UFC. Right now if you have the decision to play pro football, or UFC you're gonna choose football every time. Plenty of people I trained with decided not to pursue their UFC dreams because they didn't see the compensation as being high enough. But I don't think the fighters "deserve" more. If the UFC decides to increase salaries they should be commended, but I believe they are under no obligation. Maybe i'm gettin too into semantics but thats how I see it.There's some truth to this, sure. That said, the truth probably lies somewhere In the middle.
