How do you know if your breath smells bad and how to tell someone?

I just noticed my floss smells bad right after I pull out a chunk from between my teeth. So I guess my breath smells. Hmmm, no one ever told me. So I never knew. Anyways I know people with bad breath. I want to tell them so they can improve themselves. How do I go about this?

And most importantly how to keep your breath from smelling?

My breath smells great after I eat my girls butthole. You should try it

You lick the back of your hand and smell it. That's what your breath smells like.

You got that dry mouth shit? You're breath smells bad. Not "food" bad, just bad.

If you have a healthy amount of saliva, you're probably not as bad as you think. Should still make breath mints or gum part of your routine though.

It sounds a little kooky but you can check how your breath smells by licking the back of your hand, then smelling that. It works.

If you generally have good oral hygiene, if your breath is bad, you can tell.

I can always tell if I had food with onion or garlic in it because it does leave a taste in the mouth, especially if they were uncooked.

i cup my hand over my mouth and breathe a big breath into it, then quickly sniff it to smell my breath. it works lol.

they say drinking more water helps to keep from getting an icky mouth. maybe drink more throughout the day?

if it smells really bad and you can't get rid of the smell maybe see a dentist. you could have problems going on inside there o:

also pink tic tacs are great. freshen breath n taste like strawberry shortcake lol

Create a giant laser that gives everyone else bad breath too.

When somebody offers you a tic tac after taking some for themselves - take it. That's their polite way of telling you your breath could peel paint.

Otherwise brushing your teeth before bed, in the morning and then in the very least rinsing your mouth with water every time you eat during the day should suffice, but always keep mints handy and use them if you're going to be speaking face to face with anybody.

chew gum you heathens.

Trident, the pink pack, is the best

This is correct, and by God, is it an unpleasant surprise when you do it the first time. Brush, floss, use mouthwash, and do it regularly. Carry breath mints and use them periodically. No excuse for stinking breath, especially if you can't keep your distance from other people, as seems to be difficult for some people.

As for telling someone else they smell - never feel worried about doing it. Be discreet, rather than shouting it across the office or whatever at them.

nothing cures cigarette breath. stay away from smokers

The reason you can tell by licking something is because the smell resides on the crap that builds up on your tongue. You can do all the brushing and flossing you want, if you don't clean your tongue it's still gonna stink.

Fair point - clean that, too. And use a quality mouthwash.
