Paul Ryan fielded some tough questions at the town hall the other night. The woman in the video was brought into the country as a child and has lived here for over 20 years. She asked Ryan if he thinks she should be deported. His response.

Short synopsis;
- No, he doesn't think she should be deported
- No mass deportation
- Trump team is focused on violent illegals

What do you guys think? This seems to directly contradict Trump's campaign promises of deporting 11 million illegals. I think many predicted this would occur from the onset.

UPDATE: I can't believe I need to add this, but since so many people failed to comprehend the point of the OP, I'll restate. The question isn't whether YOU believe the woman should be deported, it's whether or not what Paul Ryan says contradicts Trump's campaign promise to deport all illegals.

Yes you should be deported.
You should also lose some weight, it's not healthy.

Fuck CNN

Not watching a CNN video, but if she's breaking a law, the law should be enforced. There's lots of laws I don't like, but I don't get to just break them without consequence.

solid, well thought out rebuttal.

It is the response the fake news network deserves. What a stupid fucking question that the fake news network (FNN) set up. When did Trump ever say anything about deporting legal citizens who have lived in the USA for 20 years? FNN is pushing a pathetic emotional appeal that is completely dishonest and has nothing to do with what Trump said.

I did not click on the video. I am not watching anything from CNN.

TURN OFF CNN

Paul Rand is a horrible human being who had to back-step when asked a direct question.

Dem guns doe.....

They aren't really legal citizens, they're illegal aliens protected by an unconstitutional wishi washi policy established by Barry.

If they are not here legally, then they should be gone. She had 20 years to apply for citizenship. She is obviously not responsible enough to be in the USA.

sooo you feel compelled to respond, yet didn't watch? Jesus you're an awful poster.

The woman was not born here. She is not a citizen, but she is covered under Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy that allows illegals that were brought here as children to receive deferred action from deportation that is renewable every 2 years.

Stay out of this Canadian. You worry about your country and I'll worry about mine. Go flog a seal or something.

Well, according to Paul Ryan and the Trump transition team, she is. Thus the thread.

She has lived in the USA for 20 years. She had plenty of time to apply for citizenship. Send her back home for being irresponsible.

I pay attention to what happens in the USA because it often influences what happens in Canada.

Quoting this so the message is not lost.

This is Trump's transition team. This is their stance(which could change in the next few minutes). What a pathetic group of politicians.

Obama has already focused on illegals that break law, if it's true, we won't see too much change

if it's found out someone is illegal, they should probably be deported. if they were a criminal they should absolutely be.
