Based on Mayweather's "look at my watch" response, I did a bit of research to see what he was implying.

The watch is a Hublot LaFerrari limited edition to 50. Retail pricing was $350K but now available for 28% off for only $248K.

Imo, it looks like garbage and his response may as well be "look at how I'm going to need a lot more money soon...". (Yes I know Mayweather has way more money than me at this point in time (this point in time being emphasized since Mayweather apparently spents $75M per year...), blah blah, but seriously...look at that watch. You can barely tell time with it.)

Here's the all sapphire version which is apparently even more expensive - this photo shows it on a wrist which further shows the bulky oversize nature of the design:

And a video of the same version Mayweather was wearing:

Apparently all 50 didn't sell and this site has it on sale for 28% off - and do note the free shipping:

it may not have occurred to you but its entirely possible ferrari or hublot gave him that watch.

Watches aren't worn as a means to measure time. It's a status symbol, just another way to show off your money. Watches are redundant in this day.

The guy can wipe his ass with 350k and not even think twice about it.

I agree, but I think wealth equates to importance in peoples minds and if somebody 'important' is doing something then people are going to pay attention and ultimately money to see it.

He got it for free, that's why he is promoting it.....

lol thats not a Ferrari watch thats a Hublot, swiss made and obviously this one is very rare. WAtches are super expensive due to the intricate nature of the actual movement. The automatic movements take many many man y hours to make and its an art unlike mma and football. This watch is probably amazing it just looks ugly as sin but most elites dont buy these for looks, they buy for the rarity and the movement. This watch believe it or not is actually an investment.

And here I'am using a Sundial like a fucking pilgrim...

that 'time piece' looks like aids

my stainless steel Aspen watch that I bought 10+ years ago for like $75 bucks looks a million times better than that

wtf cares about some nerd needing a bunch of money to feel better inside?

Floyd is sponsored by Hublot, he got it for free probably, keep crying

He did a good job promoting it, everyone is talking about the watch

That watch is fugly. If I was Floyd I'd buy them all and throw them into a volcano so future generations may be spared from that sight.

limited edition cause theres only a very limited number of fools to buy such a piece of crap.
