At Bellator 164 back in November, Douglas Lima battled the man who took his welterweight title away: Andrey Koreshkov. In the rematch, Lima was able to avenge his loss and regain the 170-pound title by knocking out Koreshkov in the third round of their championship fight.
Now having regained the belt, Lima will defend his title against recent Bellator signee and former UFC fighter Lorenz Larkin on the pay-per-view card of Bellator NYC. The event is set to go down this Saturday at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. A grudge match between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva will serve as the main event on the card.
