As the summer transfer window slowly approaches its end, Manchester City are probably done in terms of signing new players, but the departures have not stopped.

In fact, two City players are set to say goodbye to the club as soon as this week. We start with Wilfried Bony, who had a couple of very bad seasons at the Etihad and managed to be even worse on loan at Stoke City last season, who looks set for a return to Swansea City, the only club in the Premier League where Bony was able to shine as a goal-scoring threat.

Stuart James of the Guardian reports that there’s a deal in place for Swansea to re-sign Bony, but there are a few details to sort out before the transfer is official.

Next is Eliaquim Mangala, one of the most expensive defenders of all time who failed to reach his potential in Manchester. The Frenchman had a solid season on loan at Valencia and is looking for a permanent move somewhere else, and the best option seems to be Inter Milan.

An exclusive report (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) from TransferMarketWEB says Inter have contacted Mangala and the player has already agreed to join the Nerazzurri. The only thing left is an agreement between the two clubs for a transfer fee, but that shouldn’t be a problem.

City hope to get about £30 million from the two sales, which they’d then use to invest in a center-back to add depth to the squad. Hopefully these deals happen soon.
