Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a 'minimum five or six years' left on the playing field, claims super agent Mino Raiola

  • Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic still has several playing years left in him
  • His agent, Mino Raiola, insists he won't let him stop working until he is forced to
  • Raiola also believes that the forward will come back from his injury stronger
  • The agent, however, cannot see his client becoming a coach after playing days

Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has another 'five or six years' left in the game, according to the player's agent Mino Raiola.

The 36-year-old, who scored 28 goals last year, re-signed with the Old Trafford club after the end of his initial one-year deal ended in the summer - but has been sidelined since his knee injury in April.

Despite the injury woes, however, Raiola believes that Ibrahimovic still has plenty left in the tank, and even joked that the Swede now needs to repay him after all the hard work he has put in.

'He has so much in him,' Raiola told Expressen. 'I think minimum another five or six years. I won’t let him stop, he has to work for me now. I have been working for him for several years. Now it’s my turn. My children are grown up and I need money.

'We have agreed that he is only working for me for five years now. So we’re flipping it now. The salary comes to me and he gets the commission.'

Ibrahimovic is recovering from a cruciate ligament injury in his knee, sustained during United's Europa League quarter-final clash with Anderlecht last season.

The forward's recovery has been well documented on his social media channels and Raiola is adamant he will come back stronger than before - reiterating that Dr Freddie Fu claimed it was the best knee he had ever seen.

When asked about reports about experts wanting to study Ibrahimovic’s knee, Raiola replied: 'Yes, they want to. (Fu) says so.

'He says he has never seen such a strong and pure knee after such a long career as Zlatan has. Imagine all the bangs.

'This is a professor who takes care of athletes from all over the world and works with an American football team. He says he has never seen anything like 40 years. It’s the best knee he has ever seen.'

When the seemingly evergreen hitman eventually hangs up his boots, what next? Perhaps a coach? Raiola thinks not.

'F**k… God help the ones who get him as a coach! I want to see the player who says Zlatan does not know what he is talking about.

'If there is a meeting, I want a hidden camera there!'
