San Diego's hoped for MLS expansion team might be getting an unexpected name as Footy McFooty Face leads the poll.
Fans have been asked to vote for a name for the team, which is being backed by former Everton star Landon Donovan, as they plot a move into a brand new 30,000-seater stadium.
The ownership group - who are planning an £800million project to create 'Soccer City' - are keen to ask local supporters for advice.

It is part of a hoped for project to bring an MLS expansion team to San Diego in the future
They have put the name up for a vote in an online poll on their Facebook page.
As it stands, Footy McFooty Face is leading the race, although San Diego Surf could provide the clearly comedic option with some competition.
In third place is the superb San Diego Bad Hombres, which some regard as the purist's choice.

Other options include San Diego Football Club, San Diego Riptide, San Diego Armada and Mission San Diego.
SoccerCity is intended to be a newly built community, including a stadium, 55 acres of green space, housing, and office space.
San Diego is one of 12 potential expansion markets for MLS. Others are the likes of Detroit, Phoenix and Tampa Bay.
