WATCH: Stoke City star Xherdan Shaqiri hits series of wonderful volleys in Switzerland training session

Xherdan Shaqiri has become something of a forgotten man.

The Swiss international has not featured for Stoke City since January and is currently on international duty preparing for a World Cup qualifier against Latvia.

And it would seem the playmaker felt in need of an ego boost.

Creating his own Match of the Day highlights package, Shaqiri posted a series of amazing volleys to his personal Twitter page.

It’s like he knew the cameras were rolling!
