Newcastle United v Aston Villa in the Championship: Which club is bigger? Vote in our poll!

Newcastle United will host Aston Villa on Monday evening in the Championship.

It is Rafa Benitez v Steve Bruce, 2nd v 17th, Tyneside v West Midlands.

It sees two of the second tier's biggest clubs coming together at St James' Park, after their relegation from the Premier League last term.

Both have large followings and a great history, but which club is bigger?

Previously, Newcastle have won four first division titles, six FA Cups, a Charity Shield and an Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, but the last of those came in 1969 and they are due some success.

Seven first division titles, seven FA Cups, five League Cups and a Charity Shield all reside in Aston Villa's trophy cabinet, along with a European Cup and a European Super Cup, but many of those were in the early 20th century.
