Chelsea transfer latest: AC Milan want to sign Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic in permanent deal

AC Milan have indicated they are keen on signing Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic on a permanent basis.

The 21-year-old Croatia international has made ten appearances for the San Siro club this season, scoring once.

However according to Tuttosport, Milan coach Vincenzo Montella is very happy with Pasalic and is keen on extending the youngster's stay in Italy.

Signed on a loan in the summer, Milan have no option to complete a permanent switch involved within the deal.

Despite this, there is a clause which gives them first refusal if Chelsea were to sell.

Pasalic is yet to feature in the Premier League but an increase in game time in Serie A has shown what he is capable of.

This may, however, persuade Blues boss Antonio Conte to bring the 21-year-old back to Stamford Bridge, leaving Milan out in the cold.
