Dimitri Payet transfer: Seven clubs who could sign the West Ham midfielder, including Arsenal and Man United

Slaven Bilic said the words no West Ham ever wanted to hear on Thursday morning when he revealed Dimitri Payet had asked to leave the Hammers.

The east London club rejected a £20m offer from Marseille, and upon hearing that news, the Frenchman told Bilic he is no longer happy to be playing at the London Stadium.

"We have said we don't want to sell our best players but Payet does not want to play for us," the manager said.

Bilic did insist the Hammers 'are not going to sell him', but it seems like they will have no choice but to offload the 29-year-old this month, otherwise he is sure to spend the rest of the season stuck in the reserves, but still draining money from the club.
