The developers over at Feral Interactive are bringing Creative Assembly's Rome: Total War - Alexander exclusively to the iOS app store this week.

It's important to note that the game will only be available on iPad devices, not iPhone. Also not all iPad devices will be compatible. Alexander will require a first generation iPad Air or newer, iPad Mini 2 or newer, and any iPad Pro will meet the game's system requirements. You'll also need just under four gigabytes of free space to fit the game on your device.

Alexander is the second expansion for Rome: Total War. It'll be a standalone expansion on iOS, meaning you won't have to own the base game to play it. Feral Interactive has implemented touch-controls and an autosave feature for battles on the go.

You can check out a new trailer for the iOS release down below.

In other Total War news on the PC side of things, Creative Assembly just announced pre-order DLC for their upcoming title Total War: Warhammer II as well as a new trailer revealing the Dark Elves.

Rome: Total War: Alexander will be available on July 27. Rome: Total War and all of its expansions are also available on PC right now.
