Popular '90s band Limp Bizkit was involved in the marketing campaign for the ill-fated Sega Dreamcast console. Now, one of the consoles that he signed is available on eBay.

As spotted by MetalSucks, one of six Durst-signed Dreamcasts in existence is on eBay to bid on or buy outright for $1,000. This is one of the 1999 launch models, only opened so Durst could sign it. The seller, hollywoodstorage1, says the system is being stored in a climate-controlled environment.

The starting bid is $700; there have been no bids so far. The auction ends on Thursday, February 23. Go to the console's eBay page here to learn more.

As Segabits reminds us, Sega partnered with Limp Bizkit to promote the Dreamcast's online service, SegaNet. With the band's new album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water set for release in October 2000, Limp Bizkit went on a tour. Sega sponsored it and brought Dreamcast to the tour stops for people to play. Go to Segabits to learn more about the partnership.

"Limp Bizkit fans are parallel with our core audience of online gamers," then-VP of marketing Julia Miller said. "The tour is a key component in our crusade to ensure SegaNet is everywhere our target customer is."
